This is called an illustration.

Folks do not often draw for free, especially when their work is to make someone else money.

Yes, you may want to look at purchasing image collections that are not rights managed to save some money.

liquidlibrary.com not free but it has a lot of great images and illustrations. Your best bet is to check out a computer or book store and buy a large collection.
