What is the proper path?

Hello, I have a NAS unit attached to an ADIC Scalar 100. I set up everything so that my datamovers see the tape unit and vice versa. When I execute a backup on Netbackup using NDMP, I get an error that says the path could not be found. When I go into the NAS management screen, it shows the path as 'FS01\GROUPS' and etc. I keep reading about VOL and VOL1. What is the proper syntax for a path to the following:

FS01<File System>\Groups<Directory>

When it put it in as \fsol\groups\ I'm getting an error. Can anyone help me?
