I have After Effects 4.0 on a PC. I'm using Windows NT. I get a message when I first click on After Effects telling me that 34 plug ins couldn't be loaded because the hardware key couldn't be found. Alpha levels, Flange and Chorus, High-Low Pass, Modulator, Parametric EQ, Reverb, Tone, Bezier Warp, Bulge, Color Difference Key, Color Range,C. Is there anything I can do to correct this. Does anybody know why this is happening. Is it possible that the operating system isn't compatible with this version of After Effects? Thank You,
Jodey

Do you have a dongle? (okay... stop giggling - man, everyone laughs at that word!)

It sounds like you have the pro bundle installed but don't have the dongle that goes with it, so you are really just running the standard bundle.

If you bought it used, someone owes you a dongle. If you stole a copy of someone elses software, the dongle is doing it's job. They no longer use dongle after AE 5.0, so if you did steal AE, get a newer version. ;-)

What service pack do you have installed? NT is picky...(not as bad a mandrake) but still a pain-anyway, check your .reg....something might have been inadvertantly written improperly...then again.....
