Users very often receive attachments from which we don't have or even know wich software is associated. I have found very useful using VIEW option in notes and most of the times I have been succesful viewing attachemtns this way for that reason I would like to create a file association in windows for particular file extensions (say .tiff files) that will open automatically with this file viewer in notes but haven't been sucessful in triying to identify what is what Notes really uses for this. I am using windows NT and so far I have tried the following:
Open the attachament using view and go to task manager to see the apps and processes open. Only found notes is open.
Try to look for the notes databases and no one found.
try to open this tiff file using open with option and selecting notes. Giving me an error from notes as when I try to simply open the attachament.
Any hints?
