Hi... I made a presentation using HTML/JavaScript that runs using Internet Explorer. I'm going to put this on a CD... and I would like Autorun to boot up the first file in Internet Explorer. Is IE always located at "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" or is there a more universal way of doing this?

You can find the installation path by looking in the registry. There are many paths that contain the default IE location. This registry key is one of them. IE will always be located their.

HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\iexplore.exe\shell\open\command

I can write a short c++ program that will always launch IE for you if you want. or i can show you how to do this. just send me an email......
