Hi, I want to start by saying I am not a technical guy, I know nothing about telephony services and although I have spent 12 years working on web based projects, the telephony terminology is beyond me. However, I would really appreciate some help.
We are currently building a web app and want to integrate a voice service. We want each of the members of this service to be able to phone a central number, have a unique pin and leave a personalised message. So for example, customer A leaves a message and invites customer B to listen. Customer B can then hear the message and leave their own. This message can be saved and sent to customer A's asset area within the app or they can phone back in to hear the reply. This service aims to add a little bit to the revenue model so we don't want to, at this stage at least, use free VOIP services.
I know this is possible but am not sure what i should be asking service providers for and who to contact. We are based in the UK. Any help would be appreciated.
