What is the maximum size of string field ?

could someone tell me what is the max size of a string field that can be passed to crystal 6 (from ActiveDataObject,VB6)

It's probably 255.

If you go into Crystal Report design, create a string parameter and turn on the checkbox for length, you cannot enter a maximum length over 255.
