We have migrated over to ReportNet and I have been creating prompts for all the reports. There has to be a way to create a catalog picklist like in Impromptu, so that the prompts can be used across all the reports that are created.

The database we go against is SQL Server 2000.

If anyone knows of a way, please let me know.

Thanks!

The prompts in ReportNet have their own query so every prompt kind of is a catalog picklist already.....

Thanks for replying, but I know that each prompt can have it's own query in reportNet. The thing that I would like to do, which I had done in Impromptu is this:

At the catalog level, created a folder that had prompts in it. That why, when I created the reports I needed against that catalog, which were about 100, I could use the prompt that were in the folder and not have to create any new ones exclusive to a report. This was a great feature that we used. This is what I was hoping to be able to do in ReportNet, but so far have not been able to accomplish it. If you know of a way to put the prompt at the Model level, that we could then pick those prompts when developing reports, it would be great.

Thanks!
