I replaced a call pilot the other day, curiosity made me open it up.
does any one know the function of the small switch on the mother board?
is it a reset switch? it would be great to be able to zero out memory
specifically the IP address. Any thoughts?

It's a reset button (to reboot)....regardless you need to reset the memory via the telset (F983,1) which the method is in the manual.
