I replaced a call pilot the other day, curiosity made me open it up.
does any one know the function of the small switch on the mother board?
is it a reset switch? it would be great to be able to zero out memory
specifically the IP address. Any thoughts?
It's a reset button (to reboot)....regardless you need to reset the memory via the telset (F983,1) which the method is in the manual.

No, it does not change the IP address. You can change it through the serial port using Hyperterminal during initial bootup, or through the browser interface.
