Does anybody know what is the difference between the motherboard in a 520 labeled SE440BX2 or AL440LX and the same motherboards that they sell for PC's ?
I have a 520 that was sold to me with a "suposedly" defective motherboard. There is no output from the console and there is no output if I install a regular video card and take the 16 Flash ISA card out. I also have a 2 MB version Flash card neither of them seems to make any difference when installed. There is no Console outpit at all
CISCO mentions version A or B for newer motherboards are there any BIOS settings that are particular for the PIX to work ?
What happens if I just buy a SE440BX2 or AL440LX and plug it in ?
I have seen PIX clones made in PC cases and they work...
Any help would be appreciated,
Regards, Mamau
