What is the difference between a cheap dsl router and a cisco router?

You ever heard of the term:

"You get what you pay for?"

Cisco Routers are widely recognized as being some of the best in the business, and that reputation is deserved (granted, they COST more than other routers), but it's worth every penny for the built in features which come with the router.

A popular cisco router for DSL/Cable/Broadband (home use) is the Cisco 831, which can be upgraded to a enhanced firewall and VPN solution. It's designed for the home,
and can be configured through a web interface.
