Can someone tell me what is the diff btw data driven and event driven option?

Data driven implies that you know BEFOREHAND whether you will need to do an update,insert or a delete, because you scanned the target (through lookup) prior to loading.

The alternative is to let the powermart engine handle whether it should do an insert,update or delete. This is more time-consuming usually with longer loading times...
