What Is The Diff Betwn ISA and IIS?

Can someone please explain to me what the difference between ISA and IIS is? We are a Windows 2000 and 2003 Server environment with 2003 DCs. Thank you.
 
ISA is a Microsoft's software based firewall and proxy server program. It is a seperate piece of software that must be installed on the server.

IIS is built in to the operating system. Internet Information Services is the program used to manage web sites that may be hosted on the server.

That's the quick version. They are completely different programs. You would need to do some research on each program for details on their features.
