Hi, I've forgotten the login uername\password for the e2t card (connecting using putty.exe). I thought it used to be admin\ipera3000, I've also tried the stuff like system\password etc. I have managed to login via the rtc card using port 2007 in putty.exe, that's a trick I learned awhile back when I didn't have one of those special e2t to pc cables.

So, can anyone tell me the username\password please ?

Port 2007 via the RTC address IS the e2t Card.

Yep, I know, was still curious to know how to logon to the e2t card directly without using that route.

If you can get in, why do you need another method?

Your question doesn't make sense.

Yes I can get in but it bugs me when I can't remember something like that, it's no problem for now but there's no harm in knowing something like the login default credentials for the e2t card is there ? If someone knows on this forum then great, if they don't then that's fine also.
The question does make sense whether I need the credentials or not.

The login/pwd is the same as the RTC, just use the E2T's IP address instead of the RTC's.

Nope, it isn't. Tried that already first as well as the old credentials (Admin\ipera3000) that has chenged over time. I've used several default credentials which worked over the years since 3.0 and none are working on this card. I've known it be the default system\password like the RTC card at one stage as you probably know.

I'll get it off Mitel themselves, just means the usual wait for them to return a call. Maybe this card is just not playing ball for some reason.

It's of no urgency anyway. If I get it I'll post it.

Let me clarify, the login/pwd is the same as the RTC. The fact that it doesn't on your system is something unique to your box/setup. I just created a new user on one of mine and was able to log into both RTC and E2T using the same credentials.

Go into ESM and create a new user with the same permissions as 'system'. See if that works.

The other thing to note is that the E2T card still needs to be up and running and connected to the RTC card before you can login. The login/pwd is stored on the RTC card, so the E2T login needs to connect to it to verify the credentials. So the E2T needs to be at a minimum healthy state before you can connect.

What type of controller is this?

If it is an LX that would explain a lot.

Hi, it's sorted now. I telneted to the backdoor sx-2000 style gui and used the old change password commands to re-enter the system level password. Then I also had a prob getting to this MXe from Entman so I reset the system password via node properties and synched to opsman. All now ok and the e2t login credentials do indeed match the rtc's.

Thanks for your thoughts on this.
