I hope one of you VMpro wizards has an answer for this one.

I´m trying to route incoming calls so that the caller gets to hear a specific message depending on what DDI he/she calls in on even though its just one callflow in VMpro. I get it to work with PRI where I can get a recording played where the DDI is the same as the foldername where the recording is located ($DDI in the prompt path).
But what does VMpro see as the DDI for a SIP call? Is it possible to get VMpro to recognize a SIP call as DDI "123" instead of "123@sip.abc.com"?

Now, you would make me even more happy if you also could tell me how to get SIP calls to be just a number in CCR also. That would make DDI reports to make more sense.

Thanks!

route the incoming line ID to a shortcode with voicemail node as feature and create the same shortcode in VmPro then put in there whatever you want or route it to modules etc.
with that line ID you can then also specify the DID with the 123@sip.abc.com code

Hi Westi.

I can´t quite figure out your way of doing this, but I think I solved the first part of my issue at least.

I used a Generic with "Generic Command" set to "String Manipulation" where "Varible" is set to "$DDI" and "Variable For Result" set to "$CP0". This way I can select what characters should be used for playing the specific message I'm after (should anyway, haven´t tried it just yet:)

However, this will only work inside VMpro and won´t solve my issue with CCR. Will your way bring the three characters onwards to CCR as well? For instance, what would your short code look like?
I would like to have something like -

123XXX@sip.abc.com / Dial as DDI / XXX -

but the "Dial as DDI" I figure will be a problem :)

Can you try the "variable routing" action ?
There you can put in a part of the DDI.

BAZINGA!

I'm not insane, my mother had me tested!
