what is the DB9 to RJ 45 pinout for option 61 c

Hi all,

I have a buffer box will be connected to a serial port from SDI card DB9 I need the pin assinment for a cable DB9 to RJ 45...

Any one knows the describtion of every pin of the DB9 out from NT8D41 Card ?


I have the one for the Buffer box:
1 R1
2 DCD
3 DTR
4 SIGNAL GROUND
5 RXD
6 TXD
7 CTS
8 RTS

use 4 wires from the 45.. connections 1 and 9 are side by side on the top of the db9.. green and red.. skip the next two connections (2 and 8) connect blue and orange.. your done...


if you have a csu.. blue and orange to the 1 and 3 and green and red to 9 and 11


since 90 feet away transmit is one wire and rec is one wire, (common at the smart jack) green can be on the left or right and so cha blue..



for a loop back just splice green to blue and ora the red..

that's a great set of numbers from gibb, keep them, they may come in handy.. we have 46 pri's here and i wired all the dn'9.. along with a few 100 other installs... almost got that one down
