I am trying to match my form colour to the access tab control. The tab control colour can not be changed from it's default grey colour - does anyone have the numeric code for the 'grey tab colout'.
The only other thing to consider is that if the user changes the default theme color for windows then your tab control color (and command button color) will change to suit.
So, it might not be worth it to change your other items to match because once users find out they can change the theme colors, they usually do.
Yuk... can't stand that depressing grey. While you can't change the colour of the actual tabs themselves, you can make the rest of the tab control transparent (Back Style in properties), so you see the underlying form colour.
another way to jazz up your buttons and what i do is i have a web site with all kinds of buttons i copy them as pictures after naming them such as 'Exit System' for example. Put them on the form as a picture then put the command button over it transparently exactly the same size. you then have a great looking button!
