I was hoping for some clarity on the cal process order for the following scenario that someone setup:

1- he setup a new SDN with a new application called ipad application.
1b- the ipad application dials an existing CDN 5136 for the call center (this is NOT in the master script).
2- he added a NEW CDN 5502 in the master script to call the ipad script.
3- the ipad script dials an extension linked to the ipad application. (this dials the existing CDN 5136?)

for the call flow, does it filter through the:
1- master script first?
2- then go to the ipad script?
3- then go to the application from application builder?

or does it hit the application from application builder first?

i just want:
1- a new SDN.
2- it should dial a new skillset that i just added in contact center.
3- i want to be able to report on this new skillset.

any feedback would be appreciated.

thank you,

it hits Call Pilot first then onto ACD

If you are not doing a menu with options, why even use App Builder? You can use a DID CDN that is put in the Master Script and then to the Primary script you want.

thanks for the informative reply.

i think they setup the app in app builder because they wanted a recorded message to play.

any thoughts on the steps needed to do this?
1- i have an 800 # that the carrier sends to our DID.
2- i just want a message to play.
3- route the call to a new skill set with agents.
4- want to be able to report on all calls to that number.

thanks
