What is the best way to handle disabling and enabling the shift key

I need to disable the shift key in my application.
If I disable the shift key, how do I get into the app to do support and/or research or changes.
Do I hide a button on a form that only I can see and have code to enable the shift key in the app.
What is the best way to go about this?

You can write your own, but someone just showed me this.
