I'm going to start studying for my Network+ cert and was curious what Tcat is?

Tcat has been involved with CompTIA since their inception. He was on the team that developed the original Network+ exam. He has great insight into the CompTIA mindset. He has an excellent ability to make the technologies understandable. I highly recommend his materials.

P.S. He used to be Tim Catura Houser but he had his name legally changed to Tcat years ago.

Do a google search on "Tim Catura Houser" and you'll be amazed.

So if I printed out the Free Exam from Comptia, chances are he wrote it?

I'm trying to study without forking out very much dough. I know that sounds cheap of me but I'm paying $40K on an IT degree that I feel is worthless and so I'm trying to save some dollars.

I've skimmed over the document and it looks good. Plus I have several years of experience, just a little rusty on the basics so I think I'm on the right track.
