What is req'd to replace HDD in TVS100? 1

Gentlemen;

I have a TVS100 and I believe the HDD has finally died. I am a skilled hardware tech (pc/server/etc) but have never opened up this unit.

Can someone please advise on what would be necessary (size of drive (2.5/3.5), the interface and any other items/issues?

And while we're at it... any recommendations on sources?

Regarding replacement - I've taken the old hdd out (Its a Seagate 1.4GB 2.5" device).

Is the TVS software resident in ROM vs the HDD? If that's the case then a quick replacement of a similarly sized unit should work.

if you look through this forum someone posted the whole
procedure for cloning a hdd off a good master drive search
or buy one from john at communicator !!
