Please explain significance or the detail functionality of the Redo1.log file in the Oracle 9.2/Oradata/dbname.
On and average the log file contents are the history of the transactions and in general user can modify to delete the content. But I am not sure it is the same case for the Redo.log files.
Is there anyway we can delete the contents of the Redo1.log file or make it smaller than 100 MB size, or it is not allowed to modify.
