In Ms FrontPage, whenever i deleted the "webbot" thing, the file is not executable anymore. But other times, if I did not delete this, the code just cannot run, especially when I want to post the form. I don't understand what's behind this webbot thing? Why it is needed and When it is needed?

What is "webbot" in Ms FrontPage?

FrontPage uses webbots to generate many of the code 'behind the scene', so that beginners can still use advanced features without really knowing how they work.
For form submissions, you can safely delete webbot if you're handling the submission yourself and not using any built-in validations. Otherwise, your built-in validations will cease to work.
