my visual c++ had Microsoft ADO Data Control 6.0(SP4)(OLEDB). i donno the original version but i have install the service pack 5 for visual studio.
my question is when i use the visual c++ in university, when i add ADO, i notice that it had some of the classes file that i don have at home. in my own computer, it only create 2 classes for me. do i need to update the ADO Data Control? how ? or is ok ?
i ask this question because when i try to make a connection to a database with ADO Data Control and DataGrid, is ok when i click "Test" and also ececute successfully. i don even need to type any c++ code except a sql statement in ADO Data Control. but when i try the same way in home, it failed with "[Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager]Driver's SQLSetConnectAttr failed".
was it due to some setting i donno?
plase help me on this, i have post the same question to a lot of forum but reply notting.
thanks.
