Hi -

Getting ready to start BorderManager this week, and I've noticed after the install, whenever I start NWAdmin I now have an item in my taskbar called Graphics Server. I can't select it, it appears to just sit there.

Is that what it's supposed to do?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just a program that NWadmn32 uses while it is running, it should close when you close nwadmin Mark

Thanks for reply -

It does close when NWAdmin shuts down. Just curious what it was doing there.

Michigan, the graphics server is simply an engine that BorderManager's pluging to NWadmn32 uses to accomplish its' many tasks. It let's you graph your user reports and like items.

Oh... That sounds cool. Hopefully it will work once I turn our BorderManager on/Live.

Thanks again~

well - turned it on. Geezzzz talk about errors. More than likely most are my lack of knowledge on this whole bordermanager/Firewall config.

Either way, is there any really good resources you may know of for Bordermanager 3.5 reading/training? I really need to get a grip on this thing. Looking at Novell's TIDs/info page there are about 30,000 possible varibles that COULD be wrong/missing/broke/etc.... When searching for books, I can only find ones published in 1998 and seem a little outdated.

Thanks in advance!
