what is PUP.AdBundle 1

Malwarebytes just successfully removed PUP.AdBundle from one of my PC's.
I've searched the web for a PUP.AdBundle definition but I can't find one.

Does anyone know what type virus, trojan etc PUP.AdBundle is?

Just curious to find out where I may have contacted this.

It's not really a trojan or virus. It's a Pop_UP ADvertizing Bundle. It can be downloaded from various websites and allows them to track your web usage then target pop-up advertising to your preferences. It's more along the lines of annoy-ware, nuisance-ware, mal-ware. Depending on which browser you are using you can install third-party programs to block these.
