Hello,

While I am installing Red Hat Linux, I find it has a built-in News Server, but I don't know what news server program will be installed in my system ? And if I 'd like to install this package myself instead of choose this option, please tell me this package's name ? and point me the links talking about this news server, or the links where I can get documents.

Hi,

The nntp server is called 'inn' - the 7.1 rpms needed are here :

ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/inn-2.3.1-2.i386.rpm
ftp://rpmfind.net/linux/redhat/7.1/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/inn-devel-2.3.1-2.i386.rpm

For documentation, etc., see --> .

Hope this helps
