Here is the situation...
Win2000 server
Exchange 2000
DNS server
I am hosting two domains right now, a.com and b.com through IIS.

What do i need to do to my DNS so that i can recive e-mail from both domains ?

thanks

I have a similar situation. You need to make sure the MX records in DNS for the domain point to the server running exchange- this will enable remote mail systems to contact the right computer.

In my case, I added an smtp address for each user in the exchange manager 'e-mail addresses' tab, so that a user would have: fred@a.com as well as fred@b.com. Thus each user can separately be assigned to recieve mail from one domain or the other.

There is probably a simpler way to do this once for all the users, but I couldnt find it, and for my small site, the manual method wasnt bad at all.

Okay, so say I am hosting and What exactly do i put in my DNS for each of thease ? DO i create a MX in each of thease zones ? such as mail.a.com and mail.b.com ?

If anyone could post a screan shot of what is in there DNS that would be great !

THANK YOU !!
