IS-IT--Management
My home pc began exhibiting _very_ strange behavior yesterday: at the login prompt, the username has to be entered backwards -- the admin username, "wsroot" has to now be entered as "toorsw" and the same for the password.
And it's _only_ happening in the login fields: after typing in a character, the cursor is immediately moved the the _left_ of the character I just entered.
Once in Windows (running W2k Pro), the highlight moves up in any vertical list: i.e., I press Start and it's like the keyboard's up arrow is being held down. Same thing in any explorer window.
HiJackThis shows nothing unusual; process explorer shows only one out-of-the-ordinary process, called "system," with no image path associated with it. NAV finds nothing, same for Spybot.
Help!
