I know that Access2000 is supposed to hold up to 2gigs. But is there an actual numerical limit to the number of records you put in a table?
Thanking you in advance.

No, only the size limit.

Really? No limit.
I was told by a college instructor that teaches Access 2000 that it had a record limitation of 1 billion.
Is this wrong?
Wouldnt supprise me, he was kind of an idiot. :)

i still did not see an actual record limit.
im sure with a few hundred million records that the db size would breach 2gb.

No, Joe was right, there isn't a record limit. I pointed you to the help to see some of Access's published limitations.....
