What is hidebysig

Hello all,
All the MSIL programs I have seen contains a word hidebysig. I dont know what is that. I just want to know what is that and why it is put?. And I just want to know what is .maxstack. Experts please help me.

The hidebysig is an instruction that ensures that no two methods in a derived class have the same signature when it is interpreted.

The .maxstack instruction reserves the specified number of slots in memory during execution of the IL code. This is a common instruction used in different technologies. Neil Konitzer
