What is going on with my swf files?

I created some buttons on flash, i then saved and exported the image. When my movie with ctrl + Enter it works fine.

Yet if i export it nothing shows but the back ground color.

Heres a picture.


Sorry for the crappy text in the picture, the top swf file is run externally, the bottom one is the movie played by flashed
