What is /etc/uxipdmn

I have a process running that I can't find any info about.

# ps -ef |grep uxipdmn
root 590 1 0 Jan-02 ? 00:13:41 /etc/uxipdmn /dev/uxip0

# l /dev/uxip*
crw-rw-rw- 1 bin bin 134, 0 Dec 4 10:41 /dev/uxip0

Does anyone know what it is?
