What is Clarion? I take it that it is a Relational Database Management System that takes orders in SQL and helps you build a user interface as well without having to program it. Am I right?

It is a fourth generation language, an application specific language..

Clarion is a complete development environment with it's own language (although you can place C in the code), and contains a separate database access system. You can access various data sets such as FoxPro, SQL, Basic, Text, and several others as well as Softvelocity's own Topspeed files. The development system is template based, so if you want to change the way your forms look throughout the entire application, just change the template, regenerate the app instead of changing each and every form, just change the template once.
