What is C++

I always wondered what C++ was. Right now im a senior in highschool looking into computer courses in college. I always wondered what this was and what was required to take this course. I assume this isnt a basic course from what Ive read here at the forums. Is it required to be really good at math for programming? Is this a tough course or topic to study? Which colleges or universities have good programs in this course? In the end, does this career make good money and is it fun? Thx for your help.

Do U like programming? Do U like object programming? Do U need it? If yes, U have to learn C++. Yes, U can make money with, U can use it for fun, etc.
