I'm looking at different books, any REAL recommendations?

The two SCO specific books I have are

SCO Unix in a nutshell (O"REILLY)
SCO Companion (By James Mohr,Prentice Hall)

The QUE series is also really good. They more vanilla unix, System V / BSD
