I have following options. I really appriciate your comments on this topic.
ECC Host. Sun Vs Microsoft.
Sun Solaris.
+Very reliable.
+Easy to confiugre,Troubleshoot.
+Flexybility in monitoring and configureing.
Microsoft NT.
+Cheaper.
If I make (I already made unless i get any -ve comments as far as running widesky or any other EMC products on sun.) the decision to use Sun Solaris which hardware would you recommand ? I may have to connect 10+ EMC frames per ECC host in next 6 months.
Please feel free to add any other avilable Sun (Such as v series.) As I am not much familier with hardware configurations for new sun products.
