I'm having all kinds of problems with something (Idon't know what, the hard drive just runs all the time)running in the background. I read where someone suggested deleting items in the "Applog" under windows. What is this directory? What does the items in it do?. Thanks

The applog folder is where the task monitor program stores information about disk access patterns such as when and which programs are started. This is then accessed by the defrag program to assess which programs are used most often in order to optimise your hard disk

Hope this helps ;-)
