My company has upgraded our VOIP system. We currently have Mitel 3300 ICP controllers (MX/CX) for HQ and our remote offices. A buyer is requesting the Application Record and the Username and Passowrd for these controllers. What is this? Is the application record transferable? I know the licenses are in my company's name and cannot be transferred.

The application record is the account on the mitel license server called the AMC that ties the licenses your company purchased to the controller you had installed.

Mitel retains the rights to the software. You can sell the hardware but the licenses must be transfered by Mitel. If you sell "As Is" and supply the buyer with what they are requesting you will be violating your licence agreement. To be safe, you should remove the System ID (I-Button) prior to be selling the hardware. Let Mitel work it out with the Buyer regarding re-licensing.
