In Indesign or Quark etc

If you have a Picture that want to place that has to stay with some text (for example a time break dinkus) but when the text reflows over to another page then you have to move the picture as well, right?

What a pain when you have 100 pages to change.

So what you can do it with your black arrow tool select the image, then Edit>Cut the image. (Making sure the image is smaller then the text frame width)

Now with your type click in the type to select an insertion point (it could be at the start of a Paragraph, for example) then simply Edit>Past

This will paste the image inside the text frame, making it an InLine graphic or frame.

This becomes part of the type insofar as you can do alot of the text option to it now, like center, right align, baseline shift etc..

The help menu that come with InDesign has a more detailed explanation...

Hope this helps
