What is a Zero bit packet attack? 1

I am told that our router was the victim of a zero bit packet attack and I can not find any information about this. Can anyone help and tell me what this is, I think it is related to a DOS or DDOS attack that occured.

To be more precise, it is a zero length packet attack on a T3 WAN connection, hope this helps.
