What is a good MB for W2k Pro?

My current system, a FIC 503+ will not run dual monitors, and will not acces mouse in safe mode. I have tried everything, and have given up. I wilsh to start over with latest MB. I have a Matrox g400 and a Sony CD RW, and an Onsteam tape drive, running Retrospect.
Any tips on which MB and anything else to get that is known to work with no problems in W2k Pro?

From what I was hearing about far as support, and problems goes, any board is ok, just avoid any with onboard audio or video, also avoid VIA Chipset baords(possibly an AMD problem at the moment) for the time being until Via can fix whatever issues they're having with Win2k.
