what is a double fault k_trap errror 0x00000008

I tried reinstalling SCO 5.0.5 and I get the error: panik double fault k_trap error 0x00000008. I fdisk'd the hard drive and the mbr and then formatted the whole drive. I tried the installation again only to get the same error 5% through the install. I also tried some new RAM only to receive the same error.

I've read that article and I've searched all over SCO's website but I have not found anything close to the problem that Im having. I'm getting this error during the installation Im pretty sure its not a hardware problem.

As I call I have run into this before. When it happened to me it was because I was using an old third party driver from digi (MPI). When ever a system call was made to MPI it casued the same error.

What kind of hardware setup are you using. Are you using any BTLD's

I'm installing SCO on a JBSI Terrian Server with a 700MHz Pentium, 128MB's of memory, and a IDE hard drive. I'm not using any BLTD's and I'm not to familiar with MPI.
