i recently just upgraded to some new hardware and did a fresh install. all was going good, not one crash for about a week. then all of a sudden it started blue screening. i would get this error
http.sys addresss b9f66co4 base at b9f6100, datestamp 3e801979.
google cant find anything, only on http.sys. i removed nod32 thinking it was that, but nothing. i can get into safe mode, and go to msconfig and start with diagnostic startup, and it will boot everytime.

so right now what i did was just load up just the services i think i need, and it boots but the thing is right before the log in screen, i will get a error "saying one or more services or drivers have failed, check the event log."

under event log, i get alot of errors.

what will happen if i just do a repair install, would i lose all the programs/settings??? i would hate to have to reinstall everything and set everything up again, so im trying to aviod a format.

Before you attempt anything... You see that your problem is related to http.sys which is IIS. I would not scrap your entire installation based on this. Did you check the MSKB regarding this.. Did you apply any patches/SP2??
