What I start RRAS connectivity stops.

Hi,
I just setup a Win2k VPN solution. When I start the RRAS Server I lose connectivity to my local lan and Internet client can no longer ping my machine through the router. If I stop the RRAS Server I have full LAN connectivity and I can ping my machine through the router on the internet. What have I setup incorrectly? I setup both NIC cards with manual IP info. The LAN interface has no gateway info and the WAN interface has the router IP as the gateway.
