What happens when the APPLY button is selected?

Hi,

I'm wanting to find out what happens when you select the APPLY button within Desktop>Appearance?

I've tried Regmon, Filemon, process explorer and WinSpy and cannot find what class Windows would call?

Any ideas?

Apply is the same as clickong OK except that the window isn't closed. It simply configures whatever changes you have set.

Thanks for the reply. Do you know how it applies the new settings?
It would be nice to find out if there's a parameters like (rundll32.exe User32.dll,UpdateSystemPerUserParameters)?

I've written an application that checks and sets nearly all the settings in the HKCU\Control Panel\Colors but would be even better if there's an Windows Function that I could call??
