What happens to Collect Stats & Metadata while exporting/archiving?

When we do an archive in a Teradata database, what happens to the Collected Statistics on the objects in the Teradata database. Do they need to be recomputed or are they also exported. (This option is present in Oracle 8i where this is a facility for certain exports and tables).

Can we also export the metadata associated with Teradata tables?
