What happens after the rpc services start????

Hi,

My system get stuck after the rpc services is done. Does anyone know where it's getting stuck and why? Need some help. Thanks,

Can you start the machine in single-user mode?

I've had machines that get stuck & it's usually a network problem. Starting in s-u mode bypasses this problem (so you can check your m/c is OK) and allows you to single-step through the startup processes in your /etc/rc2.d & /etc/rc3.d directories.

You may need to execute the processes with sh -vx process to see exactly what is hanging.
