What happened to Time Sync Adjustment?? 2

Netware 6.0 SP 5 - Just went in to make a time adjustment on the server - the first since the new DST patch. Also recently went to SP5. I always just load monitor, go to server parameters, time and then timesync adjustment. And timesync adjustment is not there. The time server type is Single.

I believe that if Timesync.nlm is not loaded, the options for it won't show up in Monitor.

Timesync IS loaded and all the other options for it show up. Just not the adjustment. Strange. Anyway, I bit the bullit and dusted off my command line skills: set timesync time adjustment = + 00:01:00 to advance the server clock ahead one minute.

If you sync your time to an external time source, you shouldn't have to ever manually adjust it at the server.

I agree - that would be the best, but I am fighting corporate firewalls and access. I can't even use "the offical us time" using the java display, unless I resort to my backup dial-up account. We were acquired when our parent went Chapt 11 and our company is treated like one big end user.

There are many inexpensive radio or gps time source devices...

Here's one I'm using:

but it doesn't run on a Netware box. I hooked it up to an obsolete pc running linux.
