What happened to my font size?

Hello!

I'm having some real problems with Photoshop elements 2.0 and Fonts.

All of a sudden (over night) any time I use the text tool and no matter what font I choose, the size showing on the screen is about 20 times larger than the actual font size. Even size 8 is huge!

I open up a new window and size it to 800 X 300. It is showing up as being 100%, which I take to mean it is not zoomed in on, and any text I put in takes up the whole thing, even going outside the window!

Is there any reason for this? I have removed the program and reinstalled it. This does not happen in any other application such as paint or WordPerfect..

Any help would be appreciated.

Is the size in points, pixels or what?
